Trevor Belcher
Hi, I’m Trevor Belcher. Born in Zimbabwe, raised and educated in South Africa, with experience living and working around the world in places including the United Arab Emirates, the USA, and Canada, I founded The Profit Multiplier because I’m passionate about helping business owners achieve extraordinary results.
We work with C-Suite executives to reduce expenses through cost optimization and supplier management. Then, we help them connect the right message to the right customers at the right time using Search Engine Optimization (SEO), digital marketing, and social media, maximizing the lead to revenue conversion. No matter your industry the competition is fierce, and we help you reduce business costs while successfully reaching your target audience, something many businesses find difficult to do.
International experience and success
With nearly four decades of experience in the technology sector, I’ve worked with multi-million and multi-billion dollar businesses in more than 100 countries. An example of accelerated growth was growing Microsoft’s Enterprise business, which spanned 78 countries throughout the Middle East and Africa, from $995 million to $1.5 billion over three years from 2011 to 2014. Given the climate of heightened geo-political unrest and significant currency fluctuation at the time, this was an exceptional result for me and my team.

I’ve lived and worked around the world and I’m confident that my breadth of international experience and knowledge can deliver positive change to your company. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to success, and after 37 years in the industry I’ve created and implemented an extremely diverse set of strategies and approaches, each one as unique as the businesses themselves.

In order to be successful, it’s crucial to understand that innovation can’t be driven from the top down or mandated by the board. I like to say that innovation bubbles up through an organization, meaning the teams who are directly involved with the day-to-day processes are often the ones who create the most executable innovations when given the tools and the support of the leadership team. A company is a community, and it requires everyone listening to each other, working together, and supporting one another to thrive.

A bit more about me
I’m currently based in Toronto, Canada. When I’m not working, I love to ride my Harley every chance I get. On my longest solo trip to date I rode 12,600km in two weeks. I’m also a keen golfer and I’ve proudly represented South Africa in international golf tournaments. My other interests include safari trips, skiing, off-roading, and water sports.
